New TelcoBridges TSBC5000 Session Border Controller Supports up to 5,000 Concurrent SIP Sessions

New Higher Capacity Tsbc Reinforces TelcoBridges’ Continuous Commitment to Deliver Market Leading Products

Montreal, Canada: December 7, 2016 – TelcoBridges today announced that it has increased the capacity of its Tsbc Session Border Controller by more than 60-percent, now enabling it to support up to 5,000 concurrent SIP sessions. This enhancement enables service providers to expand their range of applications while making it easier to facilitate VoIP-based network interconnections with other carriers.

TelcoBridges’ Tsbc integrates the industry’s most advanced call routing capabilities. Traditional SBC routing routes calls based on criteria that include called number, domain, and other basic call parameters. But TelcoBridges’ routing is not just based on routing tables, but rather scripts that fine tune each route to specific needs. Service providers can determine routing criteria based on IP trunk groups, prefix, time range, least cost route, route quality, or almost any other criteria that suits their business needs. The Tsbc’s Class 4 routing engine can also query external resources and databases to complement its own capabilities to make optimal routing decisions.

Since its release earlier this summer, Tsbc Session Border Controllers (which initially supported 3,000 concurrent SIP sessions) have been successfully deployed in the Americas, Europe and Asia to help service providers and wholesale carriers interconnect with other carriers using SIP. In total, TelcoBridges’ media gateways, session border controllers, and new media gateway Hybrid SBCs have been deployed in carrier networks in more than 100 countries.

The Tsbc enables high performance SIP-to-SIP sessions (B2BUA); transcoding; header manipulation with access to the full SIP header; and its unmatched call routing capabilities facilitate the implementation of any routing scheme. The Tsbc’s comprehensive management tools simplify configuration, monitoring and provisioning. The Tsbc’s machine-to-machine interface provides integration with operations support systems (OSS), and the Tsbc features an array of security features that protect network infrastructure from DoS and Distributed Denial of Service attacks (DDoS).

“The enhancements we’ve announced today are just the next step in a process designed to rapidly and continually improve our products and maximize value for our customers,” said Richard Gendron, CEO of TelcoBridges. “Our market-leading media gateway and SBC combination helps service providers accelerate deployments, streamline network operations, bolster network security, and increase revenue due to our extensive and flexible call routing features.”

The newly enhanced TelcoBridges Tsbc is available immediately. For more information, contact TelcoBridges at 450 655 8993 x133 or info@telcobridges.com.
