TelcoBridges Launches Its Media Gateway Partner Program with New Financial Incentives, Cooperative Marketing Initiatives, and Training & Support Programs

Expanded Emphasis on Partnering Plays a Key Role in TelcoBridges’ 2010 Sales & Marketing Efforts

Montreal, Canada, February 11th, 2010:  TelcoBridges, the preferred hardware and software supplier for telecom resellers, system integrators, solution developers and service providers, today announced its new Media Gateway partner program designed to help TelcoBridges’ reseller and system integrator partners address the needs of their customers (service providers, carriers and ISPs), while enhancing their bottom line in the process. The Media Gateway partner program is based on three principles: the Tmedia family of gateway products makes money for TelcoBridges’ partners; the products are easy to sell; and they are easy to support.

The newly launched partner program provides an array of financial incentives, cooperative marketing programs, and training & support programs that make it easier for partners to sell TelcoBridges’ offerings.  These new investments in partnering play an important role in TelcoBridges’ shift towards a more channel-oriented sales organization for 2010.  The New Media Gateway Partner Program consists of:

Financial Incentives: To attract new Media Gateway reseller partners, the TelcoBridges Media Gateway Partner Program offers a three-pronged financial incentive offering, which allows new partners to offer the most competitive pricing currently available in the industry.  Accomplished through a standard discount, plus a volume rebate, plus potential “Early Bird” payment rebates, TelcoBridges is setting up its partners to win business throughout the industry.

Cooperative Marketing Initiatives: TelcoBridges’ baseline marketing efforts with each partner include web branding support, personalized documentation and sales collateral, banner advertising campaigns, and extensive email campaigns throughout the year.  All leads generated are automatically transferred to appropriate partners.  Additionally, TelcoBridges is now supporting partners in trade show expenses, and cooperative advertising campaigns, based on the level of TelcoBridges products sold.

Sales Training: TelcoBridges provides extensive online trainings to each new partner, to help master the product line and recommend the proper media gateway applications for each client need.  This new online training focus reduces the ramp-up time for new partners, resulting in the generation of revenues within weeks, rather than months.  TelcoBridges supports its online training through monthly conference calls to respond to its partner’s technical and sales inquiries.  And TelcoBridges’ resources are available to participate on any of its partners’ sales calls.

Technical Training: To ensure that all partners become experts on TelcoBridges’ technology, the company has launched new programs that address media gateway installation & configuration training; technical architecture training; and courses for the Toolpack software that accompanies TelcoBridges’ media gateways.  All training is available online, and extensive phone-based follow up is available.

Free, Unlimited Technical Support, Around the Globe: To help partners respond to any client need, quickly and efficiently, TelcoBridges is providing free, unlimited support via the web, phone or email.  Another benefit to the new media gateway partner program is “Free Test Units & Support” for each new client, for up to 30 days.  These test units ensure that our partners’ clients (service providers, carriers, etc.) are 100-percent sold on TelcoBridges, and on Tmedia’s interoperability, support and quality, when they place their orders.  To ensure smooth installations, TelcoBridges will participate in up to 5 scheduled remote installations with each partner, to provide hands-on assistance.

For more information on these incentives, or for any additional questions on TelcoBridges partner program, please visit: www.telcobridges.com.

“Our technology provides the performance and reliability that network service providers, carriers and ISPs require,” said Gaetan Campeau, President and Founder of TelcoBridges.  “We realize how important partners are to our continued success, so we’re providing the programs and incentives needed to create the types of relationships that expand our brand, while also helping our partners accomplish their own goals.”

TelcoBridges Expands the Tdev™ Family of Products with New TMP5900 and TMP7900 Computer Telephony Platforms

New Models Add Performance and Processing Power, Enabling Solutions Developers to Build a Wider Array of Value Added Subscriber Services

Montreal, Canada, November 16, 2009 – TelcoBridges, the preferred hardware and software supplier for telecom system integrators, solution developers and service providers, today announced two new members of the Tdev™ family of products, with the addition of the TMP5900 and TMP7900 computer telephony platforms. These new models offer significant increases in speed, processing power and storage capabilities to help solutions developers incorporate a wider array of value added service options into their telephony solutions.

“Two weeks ago we announced the expansion of our Tmedia media gateway family, and today’s additions to our Tdev line of computer telephony platforms meet the needs of solutions developers creating Value Added Services for their service provider customers,” said Gaetan Campeau, President and Founder of TelcoBridges. “The strategy behind these new additions is to provide a product for every client need, while maintaining the density, performance and scalability of our brand.”

High Density Platform with Internal x86 host: TMP5900
TelcoBridges’ Tdev TMP5900 is a high-density computer telephony (CTI) development platform for solutions developers seeking to create unique value added services offerings for their service provider customers. The TMP5900 leverages TelcoBridges’ Toolpack software to enable developers to rapidly build and deploy highly customized solutions such as unified communications, conferencing, Fax over IP, location-based services, SMS capabilities, ring-back tones, pre & post-paid calling, and many others.

Offering a full-featured, quad-core, Intel Xeon-based host with 500GB of RAID-1 storage, the TMP5900 can run additional applications, such as soft-switches and session border controllers on the same device.  This helps solutions developers converge services and it allows service providers to consolidate equipment, eliminating operating costs.  With separate chipsets for signaling, transcoding, and interactive voice response (IVR), the TMP5900 provides full non-blocking capability of up to 2048 universal voice channels per device, and it provides the highest port density in a 2U form factor currently available on the market.

Highest Capacity Cluster: TMP7900
TelcoBridges’ Tdev TMP7900 is a very high capacity, carrier-grade CTI development platform designed for solutions developers interested in expanding value-added services, while consolidating multiple racks of devices (for call control and media) into a single system.

Featuring multiple redundant quad-core Intel Xeon-based hosts with multi-terabyte local RAID-1 storage, the TMP5900 provides a greater level of scalability – to a capacity of 1024 T1/E1/J1, 48 DS-3 or 16 STM-1 interfaces, and up to 32,768 non-blocking universal voice ports.  The TMP7900 supports the same capabilities as the TMP5900, including the ability to run additional applications such as soft-switches and session border controllers locally.  The carrier-grade TMP7900 also provides redundancy across all hardware and software elements, to ensure maximum uptime and a smooth recovery in case of component failure.

Extending the Award-winning Tdev Product Family:
These new offerings extend TelcoBridges’ Tdev family, which also includes the TMP800, base addition for solution developers seeking affordable, smaller-scale solutions, and the award-winning high-density TMP6400 device. Today’s new offerings deliver much more processing power, and include enough storage to enable developers to build, store and deploy a wider range of telephony applications, in a consolidated, converged manner. For more information on these new offerings, please visit: www.telcobridges.com.

Two New Products Expand the Performance and Capacity of TelcoBridges’ Turnkey, All-in-One, Media Gateway Family

TelcoBridges’ New High-Performance TMG5800 and TMG7800 Media Gateways Help Service Providers Consolidate Equipment and Converge TDM and IP Networks

Montreal, Canada, November 5, 2009 – TelcoBridges™ Inc., the preferred hardware and software supplier for telecom system integrators, solution developers and service providers, today announced two new members of the Tmedia (Media Gateway) family of products, with the addition of the TMG5800 and the TMG7800.  Both offerings target service providers looking for high density media gateways that combine performance with the simplicity of TelcoBridges’ integrated media gateway controller technology.

The Tmedia TMG5800 is aimed at service providers looking to consolidate equipment at the network core and simplify their production system management (OAM&P) activities.  With support for up to 64 T1/E1/J1, 3 DS-3 or 1 STM-1 interfaces and the ability to run third party applications – such as softswitches and session border controllers locally – the carrier-grade TMG5800 enables consolidation of multiple signaling and connectivity devices into a 2U form factor, while providing up to 2,048 non-blocking voice ports.

The Tmedia TMG7800 is TelcoBridges’ highest capacity, highest-availability media gateway cluster.  It supports up to 32,768 non-blocking ports through an interchangeable mix of E1/DS-3/STM-1 interfaces, and can scale to meet the needs of service providers managing global networks.  Featuring multiple redundant high-performance hosts, the TMG7800 delivers core network services, such as media gateway, VoIP signaling, transcoding, tandem switching, advanced call routing, and fax relay.

The TMG7800 is an ideal solution for core switch replacement, designed to meet the needs of service providers converging TDM and IP networks, or consolidating multiple racks of devices for call control and media into a single system.  It can host third-party applications such as softswitches or session border controllers, to further support consolidation and convergence efforts.

Featuring redundancy across all hardware and software elements, the new TMG5800 and the TMG7800 ensure maximum uptime and recovery in case of component failure.  Both devices support multiple ‘any-to-any’ switching across multiple network interfaces and signaling protocols (SS7, ISDN, SIGTRAN, SIP and H.248) in a single system, and offer transcoding for all major wireline, wireless, and Internet codecs.

Complementing the Tmedia Product Family:
These two new high-end offerings expand TelcoBridges Tmedia line, complementing the Tmedia TMG800, which is TelcoBridges’ low-density (up to 8 T1/E1/J1 interfaces) offering, and the Tmedia TMG3200, which is the award-winning baseline edition (64 T1/E1/J1s, 3 DS-3, or 1 STM-1) in a low-power, 1U form factor.

Following in the footsteps of the TMG3200, these new high density products require significantly less power than competing products of similar capacity.  Both the TMG5800 and the TMG7800 media gateways support the drive by service providers to reduce the environmental impact of their network footprint.

“TelcoBridges has built its reputation on helping our customers scale their solutions to any size, and today, we’re putting even more processing power and functionality into the pre-packaged media gateways,” said Gaetan Campeau, President and Founder of TelcoBridges.  “Our new TMG5800 and TMG7800 make it easier for service providers to address a wider range of network requirements with a turnkey, all-in-one solution.”

This informative Webinar series, which is presented by TelcoBridges’ Director of Product Marketing, Kenneth Trueman, and Jon Arnold, principal of Jon Arnold & Associates, will take place on the following dates/times:

Americas/Europe – Wednesday, November 4th at 12:00 Noon, EST
Asia Pacific – Thursday November 5th at 9:00 AM CST

“As VoIP continues to evolve, the role of the media gateway is changing, due to the increasing number of handoff scenarios that must be managed to connect calls across different network types and protocols,” states TelcoBridges’ Kenneth Trueman.  “And as the expectations for VoIP shift from cost savings to call quality, media gateways must provide more processing power, and operate more efficiently. Our Webinar Series will examine this evolution, and it will identify a new class of solutions designed to help service providers compete more effectively.”

Specifically, this Webinar Series will look at four key elements defining the next generation of Media Gateways:

Protocol support – ensuring the intelligence to support all of the global variants of the latest protocols, the fragmented range of voice codecs, and the data elements needed for fax, and multimedia services.

Network support – addressing security, and prioritization for voice within the overall flow of media streams, across the PSTN, VPNs, wireline networks, cable networks, fiber, WiFi, and all wireless variants, including 2G, 3G, 4G, LTE, CDMA and GSM and more.

Scalability – scaling to maintain carrier-grade quality and reliability as service providers increasingly migrate traffic over IP networks.

Applications –providing enough processing capability to support current applications, and the future offerings (such as video, LBS, and scores of others) that service providers need to increase customer loyalty and generate new revenues in the process.

Webinar participants will also receive TelcoBridges’ new “Media Gateway 2.0, the Intelligent Edge for Service Providers” White Paper, which provides extensive detail on all of the issues covered during the session. To register, please visit: http://www.telcobridges.com, where you can access the webinar registration page.

Deloitte Ranks TelcoBridges the 175th Fastest Growing North American Company On Its 2009 Technology Fast 500 Listing

TelcoBridges Attributes its 777% Growth to Innovative Technology & Expanded Partnering Initiatives

(Montreal, Canada) October 21st, 2009:  TelcoBridges Inc., the preferred hardware and software supplier for telecom system integrators, solution developers and service providers, today announced that Deloitte has ranked TelcoBridges 175th on its 2009 Technology Fast 500, which is a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America.

Deloitte’s rankings, which are based on fiscal year revenue growth over a five year period, from 2004–2008, show TelcoBridges’ growth of 777% over this period.  TelcoBridges’ president and founder, Gaetan Campeau attributes the company’s growth to its steady focus on providing solutions developers with the technology and the assistance they need to deliver innovative telecommunications solutions to their service provider customers.

Several recent product enhancements and partnering activities have helped to sustain TelcoBridges’ growth.  Earlier this year, the company expanded its Partner Alliance Program to include new telecom solutions providers and distributors.  TelcoBridges’ recent TCOGreen Campaign has helped service providers and operators reduce the carbon footprint of their network, and save on energy costs.  In the third quarter of this year, TelcoBridges announced two new Tmonitor network monitoring devices.  And throughout the year, TelcoBridges has continually enhanced its award-winning family of Media Gateways and Telecom Development Platforms.  All of these initiatives are helping set the stage for TelcoBridges’ success in the coming year as well as hopefully securing its ranking on Deloitte’s prestigious listing for years to come.

“TelcoBridges’ impressive growth has earned its position among the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America,” said John Ruffolo, National Leader, Technology, Media & Telecommunications Industry Group, Deloitte. “Deloitte is proud to honor TelcoBridges for this achievement.”

Technology Fast 500 Selection and Qualifying Criteria

The Technology Fast 500 listing is compiled from nominations submitted directly to the Technology Fast 500 website, and public company database research conducted by Deloitte.  In order to be eligible for recognition, companies must own intellectual property or proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company’s operating revenues.  Technology Fast 500 award eligibility requirements include base-year operating revenues of at least $50,000 USD or CD, and current-year operating revenues of at least $5 million USD or CD, and these revenues must have more than doubled between 2004 and 2008.  Also, companies must be in business for a minimum of five years, and be headquartered within North America.

Deloitte Names TelcoBridges to its Canadian Technology Fast 50 Listing

Innovative New Products, Successful TCOGreen Campaign, and Aggressive Partnering Initiatives Fuel TelcoBridges’ Continued Growth

(Montreal, Canada) October 1st, 2009:  TelcoBridges™ Inc., the preferred hardware and software supplier for telecom system integrators, solution developers and service providers, today announced that Deloitte has named the company to its Canadian Technology Fast 50 listing.  TelcoBridges, which ranked 21st on Deloitte’s listing, earned this position by achieving sales growth of 777 percent over the last five years.  This substantial growth has come from the delivery of innovative new products, the launch of several successful customer marketing campaigns, and aggressive partnering activities.

The Deloitte Technology Fast 50™ is Canada’s pre-eminent technology awards program, ranking the country’s 50 fastest growing technology companies.  Rankings are based on a combination of revenue growth, technological innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.  Companies evaluated include large, small, public, and private companies that span a variety of industry sectors.   To qualify for the Deloitte Technology Fast 50™ ranking, companies must have been in business for at least five years, have revenues of at least $5 million, be headquartered in Canada, own proprietary technology, and conduct research and development activities in Canada.

Several product enhancements and partnering activities have helped to sustain TelcoBridges’ growth, and have helped the company garner more than a dozen industry awards.  Additional company highlights include:

  • In March, TelcoBridges formally launched its Partner Alliance Program, and the company has cultivated alliances with several new telecom solutions providers and distributors.
  • In May, TelcoBridges officially launched the TCOGreen Campaign (The Green Total Cost of Ownership), which helps service providers and operators learn how to reduce the carbon footprint of their network, save on energy costs, and reduce their overall operating costs, while enhancing their capabilities.
  • Throughout the year, TelcoBridges has continued to enhance its award-winning family of Media Gateways, and Telecom Development Platforms.
  • And most recently, TelcoBridges released its new Tmonitor™ network monitoring devices TM2000 & TM3000.

“This past year has been extremely successful for TelcoBridges, because of a continued focus on our core mission – which is to provide solutions developers with the technology, and the assistance they need to deliver innovative telecommunications solutions to their customers,” said Gaetan Campeau, President of TelcoBridges.  “Earlier this year we were awarded the Prize of Excellence for International Markets.  We’ve been named Company-of-the-Year by the Chamber of Commerce of the South Shore of Montreal.  We’ve continued to win Best-of-Show awards at the industry’s top trade shows – and today, being named to Deloitte’s prestigious listing further validates the accolades we’ve garnered in the past few years.”

“We’re grateful to everyone that has recognized our accomplishments, and we’ll continue to earn this respect on a daily basis, by focusing on our customer’s needs,” concludes Campeau.
