Comprehensive Network Monitoring Capabilities Help Solutions Developers Incorporate Security Applications & Location Based Services into their Service Offerings

TelcoBridges Promotes Tmonitor TM1000 Real Time, High-Density Network Monitoring Solution

Barcelona, Spain – February 16, 2009 – Mobile World Congress:  TelcoBridges™ Inc., the preferred hardware and software supplier for telecom system integrators,  solution developers and service  providers, today is showcasing its  Tmonitor™ TM1000™, a real time monitoring solution that can detect, filter, capture and record all signaling and voice traffic crossing  T1/E1 links.  The  TM1000 provides solutions developers with all the raw data they need to develop next-generation security and LBS applications.

When used to monitor a mobile network, the Tmonitor TM1000 can capture the signalling information providing both the calling and called numbers.  It provides handset identification information, cell identification, as well as received signal strengths from neighbouring BTSes and sectors.   Operators use TelcoBridges’ monitoring capabilities for mobile network optimization, CDR generation and verification, fraud detection, location-based billing, local-search services, and to notify their subscribers of roaming via SMS.

The TM1000 is specifically designed to monitor, filter, record and analyze traffic on any network, whether mobile or fixed.  Operating at line rate on up to 64 T1/E1/J1 full-duplex links, all filters are highly customizable.  Unlike a network probe, the Tmonitor TM1000 uses non-intrusive devices to connect to the T1/E1/J1 links (the TM1000 is completely stealth), and does not affect the performance of the network or the status of a call, or introduce unwanted data artefacts.  Leveraging TelcoBridges’ power-efficient architecture, the Tmonitor TM1000 requires less than 50 watts of power, which is significantly less than any other network monitoring solution on the market.

TelcoBridges’ monitoring technology is highly customizable.  Because not every signaling message is relevant, the Tmonitor TM1000 features on-board packet filters, which search traffic streams to identify data – specified by the solution developer – that need to be captured.  The Tmonitor TM1000 performs the data capture and provides the data flow to an application server, which implements additional services.  This high volume monitoring system can scale beyond single system application platforms, and it can be deployed both locally and remotely.

“As Location-Based Services and security applications become pervasive on a global basis, our customers are asking for non-intrusive, real-time network monitoring solutions that can monitor traffic across any network,” states  Gaetan Campeau, president and CEO of TelcoBridges. “With up to 64 full-duplex T1/E1/J1 in a compact 1U form factor, the TM1000 can scale locally and remotely, to address network monitoring needs in any environment.”

To see the TM1000, and to learn more about how it is currently being deployed in various environments, visit TelcoBridges at the Mobile World Congress, in Stand # 2.1C58, in Hall 2.

TelcoBridges to Unveil New Member of the Tmedia Product Family at ITEXPO,February 2-4, in Miami

New Addition to the Award-Winning Family will Complement Tmedia’s Existing Strengths of Highest-Density, Carrier-Grade Reliability and Unmatched Flexibility

Montreal, Canada, January 19th, 2009 – TelcoBridges™ Inc., the preferred supplier of hardware and software platforms for telecom system integrators and solution developers, today announced its agenda for ITEXPO, taking place February 2-4, 2009 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

On the opening day of ITEXPO, TelcoBridges will display its award winning Tmedia™ TMG3200™ and TMP6400™ platforms in booth #915.  The company will also unveil a new addition to the Tmedia family.  Details of this new product will be made available in a subsequent release.

The Tmedia TMG3200, which last week was named “2008 Internet Telephony Product-of-the-Year” by Internet Telephony magazine, is one of the highest-density media gateway platforms currently available, featuring up to 2,048 VoIP channels and 64 T1/E1 ports in a single 1U enclosure.  It is ‘ready-to-deploy’ with minimal configuration, and provides flexible support for SIP, SS7, ISDN signaling, and all associated media.  Tmedia is one of the most power-efficient platforms on the market, requiring almost two-thirds less power than competitive media gateways, and it delivers the carrier-grade ‘five-9s’ reliability that TelcoBridges’ customers have come to depend on.

The Tmedia TMP6400 is a high-availability telephony platform, consisting of the media gateway hardware, ToolPack API, TelcoBridges’ HA Manager software, and numerous other capabilities that enable solutions developers to address today’s dynamically evolving, converged network requirements.  A Tmedia system can seamlessly expand to as many as 16 TMP6400s – to create a centrally controlled, single non-blocking system with a capacity of more than 32,000 channels.  Some of the largest operators in the world are leveraging this platform to run their businesses.

Throughout February 2-4, TelcoBridges’ executives will be on hand to help solution developers and systems integrators learn more about the latest revenue-generating services that are currently being deployed with TelcoBridges’ products around the world.  Visitors to the TelcoBridges booth will also see how they can decrease their operating expenses through TelcoBridges’ “Green” power-saving technology, and they can witness how the deployment of pre-packaged, multi-service media gateways can scale to limitless demand, while maximizing system uptime.

TelcoBridges will kick off its ITEXPO campaign with a TMC-sponsored Webinar, on January 27th at 2:00 PM EST.  Anyone interested in attending this webinar, or in receiving free passes to meet with TelcoBridges at ITEXPO, can do so by visiting www.telcobridges.com.

“Anyone interested in evaluating media gateway technology should visit ITEXPO, as all of the technology providers are exhibiting, and it provides a one-stop-shop to compare numerous offerings side-by-side,” states Danny P. Blouin, Vice President of Marketing for TelcoBridges.  “We encourage anyone looking for such solutions to drop by our booth to see why Tmedia has won so many industry awards, and witness first-hand how it continues to set the industry’s benchmarks for performance, reliability and flexibility.”
