We’ve expanded the TB Academy to offer separate events for sales and technical resources.

The goal of this event is to teach attendees the best ways to sell TelcoBridges products.

TB Academy content has been tailored to meet the needs of resellers, sales personnel and pre-sales engineers.  It will show attendees how to increase revenue, and leverage a wider array of TelcoBridges’ solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.

Hosted one day before CommunicAsia 2014, this event provides a forum to meet TelcoBridges’ senior management and regional sales & support representatives, while also offering a valuable opportunity to meet and network with other TelcoBridges’ partners.

Agenda/Topics Covered:

We’ll make you an expert when it comes to presenting and discussing TelcoBridges’ products.  Incorporating these capabilities into your discussions (and articulating the salient points that make TelcoBridges unique) can help you sell more and make your customers happy by precisely addressing their needs.   This session will cover an array of functionality, including:

Interoperability:

We’ll help you articulate how TelcoBridges’ architecture enables customers to seamlessly connect with other equipment, and do more with their networks.

TelcoBridges Expands the TB Academy Training Series to Feature Separate Events Tailored to Sales and Technical Audiences

Singapore Events Hosted in Conjunction with
CommunicAsia 2014
Reseller Event on June 16; Technical Event to follow June 23-25

Boucherville, Quebec:  May 29, 2014 – TelcoBridges announces today that it is expanding the TB Academy training programs to feature different events that are tailored to sales and technical audiences respectively.  The sustained growth of the TB Academy program over the last two years has prompted this expansion, enabling TelcoBridges’ trainers and senior management staff to provide expanded content that is unique to the roles of attendees.

  • The TB Academy Reseller Program will take place on Monday, June 16th, from 9:00-17:00 at the Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy.  This event occurs the day before CommunicAsia 2014, making it convenient for resellers to network with partners and customers.
  • The TB Academy Technical Training will take place following CommunicAsia, June 23-25th at the Seminar Room LLP.
  • Additional details on the venues are available on the events section of Telcobridges.com.  Both events will help attendees learn more about TelcoBridges’s products, and the latest features/functionality available in the Tmedia portfolio.

The Sales/Reseller training program will make attendees experts on presenting and discussing TelcoBridges’ functionality.  By offering the positioning needed to incorporate Tmedia capabilities (such as performance, scalability, interoperability and redundancy) into prospecting efforts, this seminar will help sales and pre-sales engineers sell more TelcoBridges solutions, and address a wider range of customer requirements.

This event will help attendees leverage TB Support as an important part of their own sales process, teaching resellers how to price it accordingly to grow revenues.  And the event will train attendees on how to introduce TB Analytics – an exclusive diagnostic tool suite that enables engineers to troubleshoot networks and easily identify where problems are.  Partners that leverage TB Analytics close significantly more business, and the TB Academy Reseller Program will teach attendees how to do this.

The TB Academy Technical Training Program, which takes place after CommunicAsia, is designed for Telecommunication Network and Solution Architects, Installation Specialists, Commissioning Specialists, and (Network Operation Center) NOC Specialists who will work with Tmedia gateways.  Expanded to three days, the event provides Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced curriculum to help attendees become more self-sufficient with TelcoBridges’ products.

Day 1, for beginners provides a comprehensive product overview, with specific sessions dedicated to network architecture, configuration and basic routing.  Day 2, for those with an Intermediate knowledge of TelcoBridges’ gateways covers hardware installation; Tmedia architecture; redundancy schemes; SS7; and efficient troubleshooting via TB Analytics.  The advanced sessions in the morning of day 3 address routing scripts.  The afternoon on day 3, which is open to everyone covers new operational features; flexible IP; SNMP enhancements, and more.

Both TB Academy events conclude with a roadmap discussion that helps attendees understand how the product portfolio is evolving, and they both offer networking opportunities that enable attendees to discuss their specific needs with TelcoBridges’ staff and with like-minded partners.

To register for either event, please visit the Newsroom and events sections of TelcoBridges.com.

TelcoBridges Partners Continue to Capitalize on Opportunities Associated with the Privatization of the Telecommunications Industry in Bangladesh

IBSS Becomes TelcoBridges’ Latest Partner

Boucherville, Quebec:  April 29, 2014 – TelcoBridges announces today that Integrated Business Systems & Solutions (IBSS) of Bangladesh has become the latest TelcoBridges partner, focusing on reselling and incorporating Tmedia gateways into telecom solutions for Service Providers throughout Bangladesh.  For almost 7 years, IBSS has been one of Bangladesh’s leading resellers of IT equipment.  IBSS’ partnership with TelcoBridges advances the company’s telecom business and capitalizes on the ever-expanding opportunities for telecom solutions throughout Bangladesh.

Since the privatization acts granted new licenses to private telecom operators, TelcoBridges has worked with partners like IBSS to help Interconnection Exchange (ICX) operators use Tmedia to connect local Bangladeshi carriers with one another to carry voice traffic via TDM.  Today, IBSS is helping local International Gateway (IGW) providers connect with local carriers for long distance calling services via VoIP.  And IBSS is working with Internet Protocol Telephony Service Providers (IPTSPs) to deliver all of today’s latest telecom services to enterprise and residential customers via VoIP, using Tmedia gateways.

Many of the IPTSPs that IBSS is working with, such as BDCOM Online Ltd., and DhakaCom Ltd., started out serving customers with open-source-based platforms. As their business scaled, they quickly outgrew their open-source infrastructure and needed a carrier grade solution such as Tmedia.By partnering with TelcoBridges, IBSS has been able to offer customers a turnkey telecom solution that is essentially a “IPTSP-in-a-Box.”

“The existing infrastructure in Bangladesh is TDM-based.All of the IPTSPs, ICXs and IGWs we work with need a carrier-grade, fully-featured solution to bridge between TDM and VoIP, and Tmedia offers the best performance and the best value by a wide margin,” said Mashfiq Chowdhury, CEO of IBSS.

”We’re pleased that we have talented partners like IBSS to help us address opportunities in Bangladesh,” said Bronze Chan of TelcoBridges.

TelcoBridges Tmedia Gateways successfully pass Spirou SS7 interconnection testing conducted by Orange with ease

Tmedia’s Spirou SS7 compliance opens the door for operators seeking to deploy with France’s Tier-1 Carriers such as Orange and SFR

Boucherville, Quebec:  February 18, 2014 – TelcoBridges announces today the results of Orange’s (previously known as France-Telecom) extensive testing of TelcoBridges Tmedia gateway. The goal of the testing was to verify Tmedia’s ability to connect to Orange via Spirou SS7. Orange conducted this testing at the state-of-the-art Euclyde facility. TelcoBridges not only passed all of the tests with ease, but also did so without any appended notes or constraints, resulting in the highest level of compliance. This means that we can drop TelcoBridges Tmedia gateways into any network connected to or needing to connect to Orange.

The Spirou SS7 testing process began when TelcoBridges reseller IT-Logiq sold Tmedia gateways to solutions provider Ainsi Soit TEL, who sought to connect their IP-based telecom services to Orange’s TDM network.  Orange requires anyone connecting to its network to undergo extensive Spirou SS7 testing.

“The Orange’s engineers rigorously evaluated our gateways, and we’re pleased to report that we passed all of their tests without caveats, constraints, or notes of any kind – and from what we understand, this has not been the case with competing gateways that have undergone similar testing,” said Luc Morissette, Director of Technical Support for TelcoBridges.  opens the door for TelcoBridges to work with other solutions providers in France that require Spirou connections to reach Tier-1 carrier networks like Orange, and SFR.”

“We are very pleased with TelcoBridges; their staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and their gateways are reliable and easy to work with,” said Gilles Sauvaire, CEO of Ainsi soi TEL.

In addition to working with Ainsi Soit TEL and Orange, TelcoBridges has also completed Spirou SS7 compliancy testing with solutions provider Adenis Telecom, who required the same Spirou SS7 compliancy testing to connect to France’s second Tier-1 carrier SFR’s TDM network.

TelcoBridges will present Tmedia’s capabilities (including ISUP Spirou SS7) at the TB Academy training session taking place just prior to Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, on February 24th.  For information on attending this session, visit the events section of www.telcobridges.com.
